Comments: After about 1/2 hour in a cold rain, the waterproof membrane breaks down and my hands were cold and wet. I was disappointed.

Comments: no problem with product fit/comfort/look.
I've used these gloves for three seasons now and each season one of the seams on
a different finger has opened up. sizing does not figure into this equation. would like to see much higher quality at this price.

Comments: I live in Anchorage, Alaska and commute to work year-round and get out and ride as early and as much as possible. The gloves are da bomb! I even use them as x-country ski gloves. I haven't figured out how you get such a lightweight glove to keep your hands so warm.
The only complaint - and it is a small one is that my thumbs and fingetips get cold when the temperature is below, say 25 deg F and I am riding the bike, but hey, no other glove I have owned is up to that task either.
Cycle on!

Comments: I can't speak to the durability of these gloves as I've only had them for a few weeks. But man! They fit great, look great and are certainly wind-proof. Even if they only last one season I will consider them money well spent at this price. The only gripe I have is that the velcro flap should open more. Why it is sewn together at the finger end is beyond me. But the rest of the glove I like very much.
Note: I don't ride much in the rain. Just the cold.

Comments: I used these thermal gloves on a bike tour in spain. You advertise them (last year) as being breathable and waterproof. I see you updated the advertisement to water resistant. Good job but that did not save me from freezing soaked hands on my trip.
They are not even close to waterproof. I rode in cold rain with them and they proved useless. I bought a pair of playtex dish gloves which worked better.
When it came to dry weather they were not really adequately breathable either.
I am a big fan of voler shorts and cycling shirts but you really disapoint me with false advertising.
I also bought a pair of booties from you which broke the first time I tried to use them. The zipper broke. Very poor quality. I would have been better off buying a cheap pair (that I know are poor quality) from performance. Complete waste of my money.

Comments: Leaks like a sieve. The fabric may be bonded to a water-resistant laminate but water sure gets in- maybe the seams?
Seams are also a weak point for durability. I have only owned my pair for 6 months and they're coming apart at seams. The fabric is ripping at the thread and coming apart. The price is tempting but they aren't worth it.

Comments: Very warm for the light weight. Unfortunately not very durable -- the outer layer tears easily at the stitching. As others have mentioned they also leak like a sieve.

Comments: definitely not waterproof, not much help in rain. But they are very good at wind resistance, and I wore them either alone or over liners for warmth down to freezing last winter.
I am getting another pair though, these gloves are tough. I took a bad fall onto my hand/arm and slid, broke the arm but the gloves saved my fingers. Had to cut them off the broken arm, but who cares?

Comments: Warm but don't get them WET. I'm not sure what water-resistant means. I like to know what the hydrostatic head rating is this product.

Comments: I see from my last review that I've now had these for over two years. I wear them a LOT, and they're still hanging in there. Sure, they quickly smell like old tennis shoes, but they still work. I've since modified the flap opening. I cut open more of the stitching and then bar tacked it where it should have been in the first place. Voler, are you listening? That opening should be bigger! Alos, the velcro has started to fall apart. I've had to glue and stitch it back on. I do wish there was a tad more padding - but I've worn these for 100 mile rides, and done quite well. Still like them lots!
