Comments: Great wind resistance. Never cold toes. Breath well enough to stay on to 65-degrees. No zipper protector, so tall socks are needed. Thanks again Voler.

Comments: I would give them a 10 rating on performance and value ...but the zippers are of poor quality, I've already returned them twice!

Comments: I had a pair of these last year and really liked them. After using a couple of different 'bootie' options, it seemed as if I had finally found a pair that worked for me. On one of the last rides of the year though, the zipper broke. I told Velowear about it though and they replaced the item for free. The new pair clearly has a much stronger zipper. I haven't given it a good workout yet, but I am optimistic this pair will serve me well this winter. Thank you to Velowear for having a great return policy

Comments: Don't let the name fool you "Windster Thermal Booties" are NOT for cold winter rides. They are also not windproof.
I frequently feel chilly breezes on my toes. I don't notice it so much when I'm wearing them on 50 degree days, but when it gets into the 40s, you definitely notice a chill. Also, I ordered a medium set, and one of the "mediums" is very much smaller than the other. It still manages to fit...with a little stretching.
In summary, these booties are best for cool fall and warm winter rides. Think 50 degrees or thereabouts.

Comments: I ordered a medium pair. One of the "mediums" was decidedly smaller than the other. Also these booties are not particularly wind or cold resistant. They are good for 50 degree days or there abouts, but when the chill drops into the 40s look elsewhere for shoe covers.
