Comments: I rate the '10 Avanti Pro short as excellent across the board. The Ion SL pad is low profile and eliminates chafing caused by bulky sponge-type pads. I recently rode a seven hour mtb race in these shorts, and they performed better than my PI shorts do on a 2 hr ride. Design is conventional 8 panel, and seams are not fancy flatlock curves, but fit is great. Great value for the $$. I ret'd my PI shorts, with the pad that looks like something you wash your car with, and bought 2 more pair of '10 Avanti Pros.
